Norwin S. and Elizabeth N. Bean Foundation Award

We are pleased to announce that the American-Canadian Genealogical Society has been awarded $10,000 from the Norwin S. and Elizabeth N. Bean Foundation for our capital project to replace windows, lighting fixtures and ceiling repairs.  With energy costs escalating dramatically, the board has voted to replace the existing windows with energy efficient units.  This will be followed by upgrading our lighting fixtures and lowering the ceiling height to reduce the heating and cooling costs in the library area.   We thank the Foundation for their generous support.
